  1. This is a resource folder for DigitalCD. Extracted from the installation archive
  2. it will only contain the following files: !Boot, !Help, !Run, !Sprites.

  4. In normal usage it will also contain the following objects:

  6. - the file CDs (CD database)
  7. - the file Setup (filetype vs player module mapping)
  8. - the Skins directory
  9. - the Plugins directory subdivided in Plugins.Desktop and Plugins.FullScreen
  10.  
  11. When you start DigitalCD for the very first time, it will setup all these
  12. objects for you.

  14. Upgrading from a previous version of !DigitalCD

  17. + If you are upgrading from version 2.44 or above:
  18.  
  19. When the new version of DigitalCD is started for the first time it will
  20. automatically erase from !DCDRes old versions of its default skin and plug-ins
  21. and create the new ones.

  23. Just check for updates in default list of filetypes proposed by
  24. !DigitalCD.Copy.Setup as your own version of !DCDRes.Setup will not be modified.

  27. + If you are upgrading from versions before 2.41:

  29. Move the following files/directories from the old version of !DigitalCD to
  30. !DCDRes:

  32. - CDs (CD database)
  33. - Setup (filetype vs player module mapping)
  34. - the skins directory

  36. Move your plug-ins from the old !DigitalCD.PlugIns into
  37. !DCDRes.PlugIns.FullScreen with the exception of PowerBars for which a new
  38. version will be put by DigitalCD itself in !DCDRes.PlugIns.Desktop.

  41. + If you are upgrading from versions before 2.44:
